Welcome to PERFORMANCE REFINISHING, Inc.'s
2000 Honda Odyssey
buildup site.
Over the coming months we'll be documenting the buildup of one of the finest, fastest
mini van's on the market today, the Honda Odyssey! Many companies are now producing parts
in the US for the ODYSSEY, Wings West, Eibach (soon), H&R and many more to come.
Like most all Honda's, the Odyssey has become a fan favorite as well as a show stopper! Not only is this
the ultimate in road going travel, but is quick becoming a Race van!
PERFORMANCE REFINISHING, Inc., supplier of speed parts for Honda's and most imports, has
a 2000 Odyssey in the works. We'll be hitting the show scene as soon as the van is done.
We are waiting patiently for several companies parts to arrive any day now!
The biggest part of the buildup will be a custom turbo install. This will be happening sometime after winter. We'll cover the whole thing on this site....Stay tuned!

NOW TAKING ODYSSEY H&R SPRING ORDERS!

October 2001: Finally got the H&R springs! Installed them, lowered about 1.5 inches. Looks great! Also installed the Wings West Commando rear roof wing. Still needs paint, but that will wait for winter. Only thing left is a nice set of rims!
August 2001: Installed the Wings West body kit, minus the side skirts. I decided not to spend the extra cash on them and just paint the rocker covers body color. Affect worked well, and saved me 300 bucks! Installed the Nakamichi CD player, MA Audio components (soon to be replaced with CDT Audio), and the Indiglo gauges.
August 2001: Still waiting for the H&R Springs. I did find out that they have been sent! WOO HOO! Should see them the week of Sept. 4th. Spoke to a local turbo place....I am commissioning him to make a stainless exhaust for the Odyssey...and will be selling it retail as well. He will help me design and install the custom turbo kit as well. I'm excited about this one! By next spring things should be about done.....

Here are some photos for you enjoyment until the real work begins!
Finally got some good photos! This is an LX. I painted the moldings, door handles, mirrors
(note the different paint style from what is on the EX!) A buddy of mine got me Accord V6 rims,
which are identical to the Odyssey rims. Wings West body kit, racing stripes and red "H" on front
and rear done as well. Also note "VTEC" sticker on rear doors and rear hatch. These are from
the 99-00 Civic Si "DOHC VTEC" stickers...look great in real life! Lowering springs are on the way!

Nice clean rear valance! Can't wait to see it lowered and a nice polished stainless tip sticking out the back!

A bit dark....but the Indiglo adds a nice touch. Nakamichi can be made out in the center console.
